US 2 at Stevens Pass is closed due to illegally parked vehicles at the summit blocking snowplows from clearing the road.
The highway is closed between mileposts 55 and 85, the Washington State Department of Transportation reported via X just before 2 p.m. Friday.
WSDOT urged drivers to move their cars so crews could get through.
“If you have selfishly chosen to block our crews and first responders, come move your car off the highway,” WSDOT stated.
