Westbound I-90 west of I-5 in Seattle back open

Westbound I-90 has reopened west of I-5 in Seattle at milepost 3, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) reported around 3 p.m. Monday.
The road was closed for around three hours due to an “incident,” according to a news release from WSDOT.

The westbound I-90 off-ramp to Fourth Avenue South, the northbound I-5 off-ramp to Edgar Martinez Drive, and the southbound I-5 off-ramp to Fourth Avenue South were also closed.
Emergency crews were at the scene.
“People should expect delays in the area and seek alternate routes,” WSDOT previously stated.
