Westbound SR 18 in Snoqualmie fully reopens after crews clear rocks

Westbound State Route 18 (SR 18) in Snoqualmie, just west of I-90, has fully reopened after crews cleared rocks in the road.
The road was fully blocked at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Traffic was backed up to the I-90 interchange, WSDOT reported on X. The Washington State Patrol and Incident Response units responded to the scene.
UPDATE: Westbound SR 18 is fully blocked just west of I-90 (MP 26) due to rocks in the roadway. We are seeing backups to the I-90 interchange.

WSDOT urged drivers to seek alternate routes.
The agency also noted trucks should not use Issaquah city streets or Issaquah-Hobart Road because they are not suitable for freight traffic.
