From cars and coffee to hands-on learning, there’s something for everyone at LeMay – America’s Car Museum this late summer and fall. Here’s what’s coming up:
Tacoma Cars & Coffee
Friday, August 22, Saturday, September 26, & Saturday, October 24th
Free admission | All makes and models welcome Coffee provided by Naomi Joe Coffee Roasters. No registration required.

Story Time for Little Spark Plugs
Monday, September 1 & Tuesday, October 6th
Toddlers and caregivers welcome for interactive stories, action songs, and play in ACM’s Family Zone.

WagonFest Seattle
Saturday, September 19 | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
The PNW’s largest wagon gathering returns for year nine. All wagons welcome — old, new, stock, or modified.
- Wagon Registration: $40 (includes show spot, poster, sticker, and one museum admission)
- ACM Members/Avants: Save $10
- Spectators: Free
- Only 400 spots — register online in advance.
Family STEM Day: Crash-Test Cars
Saturday, September 19 & Saturday, October 17th | 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Hands-on science, technology, engineering, art & math activities for the whole family. Free for ACM members and included with admission. Ages 18 and under get in free thanks to Tacoma Creates.
Homeschool Day
Wednesday, September 23 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Design challenges, self-guided tours, and hands-on activities built for homeschool families. Drop in or stay all day.
- $10/child ages 3+ ($15 at the door)
- $7/adult
- No refunds after registration closes.
Trunk or Treat
Saturday, October 31 | 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Free community event with food trucks, entertainment, trunk decor, and more thanks to Tacoma Creates!
- Children under the age of 13 require an 18+ chaperone.
- Located at The Museum’s Plaza.
