Law enforcement conducted a big drug bust Wednesday morning in Snohomish County, where deputies arrested 14 people from three units of a Lynnwood apartment complex.
The investigation started in September after detectives, acting on a tip, arrested one person for allegedly dealing fentanyl and methamphetamine out of one of the apartments.
That led to a wider investigation, where in October, authorities learned drugs were being sold from a second unit in the same complex.
As detectives were surveying the area, they saw a man openly carrying a rifle in the parking lot. They also saw multiple people visiting several apartments for a short amount of time.

Detectives received search warrants for three apartments and conducted the operation on November 19. They found 21 people inside the apartments. Fourteen were arrested and booked into different jails around the region.
Animal control also took custody of a dog and transported it to the Everett Animal Shelter.
The suspects face a variety of potential charges.
While some were booked on suspicion of trespassing or theft, four face drug charges, and two were arrested on felony Department of Corrections warrants.
