Double stabbing in Everett leaves 2 men hospitalized, investigation ongoing

Two males in their 40s were stabbed inside an Everett residence Sunday, the Everett Police Department (EPD) confirmed.
The stabbing occurred at 3:30 p.m. at a home on the 5700 block of Wetmore Avenue in Everett.

One suspect was taken into custody, according to KIRO 7. No information was released on what the suspect was arrested for or what charges they are facing.
Both EPD and the Everett Fire Department responded to the scene of the reported stabbings. The two males sustained injuries from the stabbing, although EPD did not mention the severity of the injuries.
Both victims were transported to the hospital by medics. There is no update on either of the victims’ conditions.
The suspect is currently in custody.
EPD noted an active investigation is underway, and provided no further details.
