VIDEO: Helicopter footage of 100 mph motorcycle chase attempting to evade police released

A King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) helicopter, Guardian 1, assisted Kent Police in the arrest of a motorcyclist eluding officers on Sept. 16, KCSO announced.
Guardian 1 responded to Kent and located the fleeing motorcyclist. According to the Guardian 1 video feed, the motorcyclist was traveling more than 100 mph at times throughout the chase.
The KCSO Air Support Unit recorded a video feed of the motorcycle as additional Kent Police Department (KPD) officers arrived.
Guardian 1 followed the motorcyclist as the suspect entered a residence and fled into a neighborhood on foot.
The suspect jumped over multiple fences in the neighborhood in an attempt to escape.
With assistance from Guardian 1, the suspect’s exact location was recorded and communicated to KPD officers throughout the attempted escape.
After a chase that lasted more than 10 minutes, KPD was able to locate the suspect and make a successful arrest in the backyard of a residence.
