26-time felon arrested with multiple firearms after domestic violence incident in Kitsap County

A Bremerton area man and 26-time felon currently faces assault and illegal firearms possession charges after a domestic violence incident on Sunday.
At approximately 2:40 p.m., Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies responded to reports of an altercation involving a firearm, KCSO announced.

A background check on the 39-year-old suspect revealed he had 26 prior felony convictions and is prohibited from owning or possessing firearms.
KCSO deputies were able to seize multiple firearms at the suspect’s residence, which included one firearm that was reported stolen and two that were classified as illegal.
The suspect was taken into custody on suspicion of second-degree assault, two counts of unlawful possession of firearms, possession of a stolen firearm, alteration of identifying marks on a firearm, possessing an unlawful firearm, and intimidating a witness after allegedly threatening to kill them as he was being taken into custody.
