Police in Auburn are looking for a suspect after reports of shots fired near 41st SE and A St. SE. The intersection is less than one mile from Auburn Riverside High School.
The first 911 calls came in just after noon Wednesday. When police arrived, the shooter was already gone.
No injuries were reported, but Kolby Crossley, a spokesperson with the Auburn Police Department, said the incident impacted nearby schools.
“There was a lockdown at the schools nearby, but that was just for a short amount of time,” Crossley told KIRO Newsradio.
A K-9 unit was called out, but was unable to track any suspect.
