One person was arrested in the latest drug bust linked to the Sinaloa Cartel network.

The King County Sheriff’s Office Precinct 4 Special Emphasis Team (SET) has been investigating a local drug distribution network connected to the Sinaloa Cartel for the past month, according to a Facebook post from the Burien Police Department Wednesday.

Through the investigation, law enforcement identified a drug supplier based in Lynnwood who was distributing large quantities of narcotics through King, Snohomish, and Skagit counties.

Authorities developed probable cause and obtained a search warrant with the assistance of K9 Quinn.

As a result of the search warrant, detectives seized 214 pounds of methamphetamine, 5 pounds of heroin, and $89,780 in cash believed to be drug proceeds. They also arrested one suspect and booked them into the Snohomish County Jail, where they are currently being held on $1 million bail.

The estimated street value of drugs seized following the search warrant was around $2 million.

6 arrests made in total operation

“Operation Eastbound and Down — the Last Chapter” stemmed from the original Operation Eastbound and Down investigation in November 2025.

In the entire Operation Eastbound and Down investigation, law enforcement has made six arrests. In total, authorities have seized 295.84 pounds of methamphetamine, 22 pounds of fentanyl powder, 2.87 pounds of cocaine, 12.33 pounds of heroin, $229,391 in cash, and one vehicle.
