Mercer Island police investigating after 2 found dead in home

Mercer Island officers are investigating after two people were found dead in a home, KIRO 7 reported.
Officers conducted a welfare check at a residence on South 46th Street Tuesday morning.
When they arrived, officers saw a body through a window.
Inside the home, police found a woman in her 70s and a man in his 40s who had died from gunshot wounds.
The deaths are being investigated as a murder-suicide, according to KIRO 7.
