21-year-old man wanted in connection with murder of Parkland teen

Authorities are asking the public’s help in finding who they believe is the killer of a Parkland teen.
Pierce County Sheriff’s Office detectives are looking for 21-year-old Brandon Torres-Mesa.
Torres-Mesa is described as 6 feet and weighing 200 to 300 pounds.
Anyone who sees Torres-Mesa, or has seen him recently, is urged to call 911. He is believed to be armed.
Braylon Diaz, 17, was killed last week in Parkland.
2 people arrested in connection with Parkland murder
A 26-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were arrested Sunday night, but investigators said they are searching for at least two others.
Detectives said they believe the pair was in the car when it pulled up, robbed Diaz of his jewelry, then shot him before driving away.
The shooting happened on May 24 in the 10200 block of Sheridan Avenue South. Deputies responded to reports of a teenage boy lying in the roadway. They began life-saving efforts when they arrived, but Diaz died at the scene.
Investigators said Diaz was walking with his girlfriend when a vehicle approached, and someone inside called him over. Pierce County Sheriff’s Office investigators said the attack was believed to have been random.
Anyone who has surveillance footage from the area or information about outstanding suspects is asked to contact the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office or 911.
