Pierce County man arrested for pointing 2 guns at partner’s father, stealing car

A man in Pierce County was arrested Sunday for allegedly assaulting his partner’s father and stealing his car.

Pierce County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) deputies responded to an Anderson Island grocery store after the victim reported a crime, according to KIRO 7.

The victim told deputies that he went to pick up his adult daughter and her children and take them away from a domestic violence situation.

Suspect brandishes 2 firearms in Pierce County domestic violence incident

As the victim arrived at the home, the suspect came out holding a firearm in each hand.

The victim attempted to drive away with his daughter and grandkids, but the suspect then jumped on top of the car in an attempt to stop the vehicle.

Ultimately, the victims fled to a grocery store to get help. The suspect followed the victims to the store, and as the man tried to run inside the store for help, he was assaulted by the suspect.

The suspect took the man’s jacket, which contained his car keys, and left the parking lot, driving the victim’s car.

Neither the woman nor the children were in the car when the suspect stole it.

Deputies located the suspect at a nearby park and arrested him without incident.

PCSO noted the man was arrested for strong-arm robbery, weapons intimidation, and felony harassment.
