Man in custody after SWAT standoff in Renton

A man is in custody after a domestic violence call turned into a SWAT standoff in Renton Tuesday.
Around noon, officers were called to the Grammercy Apartments on 120th Lane Southeast for a domestic dispute.
Police said a man and a woman were in an argument. Both were reportedly armed, one with a knife, one with a handgun.
The man then allegedly assaulted the woman and pointed a gun at her. She then stabbed the man in the leg, authorities told KIRO Newsradio.
Man barricades himself in Renton standoff
The man then barricaded himself inside the apartment.
Police got a search warrant, and the SWAT team moved in and took the man into custody.
He will be booked into jail for second-degree assault.
