Roads closed in Renton after 27-year-old found lying in roadway

A 27-year-old was found lying in the street just after 12 a.m. Wednesday in Renton, local police confirmed.
After receiving a 911 call, officers with the Renton Police Department arrived at the intersection of Rainier Avenue S. and S.W. Victoria Street, finding the victim lying in the roadway.
“Medics were called to assist and transported the victim to a local hospital,” the police department stated. “Detectives will take over the investigation.”
The victim’s condition is unknown, as of this reporting, nor are there any suspects related to the victim’s injury.
Police block off roads for hours
Both northbound and southbound lanes of Rainier Avenue were closed off for hours, with police stating the roadway will reopen once the investigation is complete.
