A shooting outside a hookah lounge in Seattle’s International District early Saturday morning left one man dead and three others hurt, police said.

Police responded to a shooting just before 5:00 a.m., in the 600 block of 8th Avenue South. two blocks west of I-5.

Officers found a man dead in a parking lot.

They also discovered a nearby building had been damaged by the gunfire.

Police soon located two other men in a car, six blocks away, near 5th Ave. S. and S. Dearborn St.

Both had been shot.

The owner of the hookah lounge said her business had nothing to do with the shooting, and as closed when it happened.

Seattle Fire medics worked on the two men, then transported them to Harborview Medical Center.

Both had suffered serious injuries.

Doctors performed emergency surgery on one of the injured men.

Police say a fourth male victim showed up later, at Valley Medical Center in Renton.

Investigators believe he was also injured in the shooting.

Detectives are working to determine exactly what led to the shooting and the number of assailants.

At the crime scene, officers cordoned off the area and assisted the Homicide and Crime Scene Investigation Unit as detectives processed the scene.

So far, police have not identified or arrested any suspects.
