Suspect arrested, then released
According to SPD, the suspect left the area in a black Mercedes before officers arrived. The Mercedes was later discovered at the intersection of 28th Avenue N.W. and N.W. Market Street.
“Police performed a high-risk, felony traffic stop and detained three individuals,” SPD stated in its crime blotter. “Officers identified and arrested the shooter and recovered a handgun.”
