Teenager shot on King County Metro bus in Auburn, suspect still at large

A 17-year-old boy was shot while on board a King County Metro bus Thursday night, the Auburn Police Department confirmed.
The shooting happened on a bus as it was traveling near 29th Street S.E. and M Street S.E. at approximately 9:30 p.m. Thursday. When officers arrived, they found the 17-year-old victim unconscious with at least one gunshot wound.
“He was reported to be in stable condition and was speaking with officers prior to being transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment,” the Auburn Police Department stated.
A K9 team was deployed to track any shooting suspects. No suspects have been arrested, as of this reporting.
