A 28-year-old woman was arrested Monday night after allegedly kicking two Washington State Patrol (WSP) troopers and spitting on a Seattle Police Department (SPD) officer in Tukwila.
At approximately 5:45 p.m., SPD officers responded to 10805 Pacific Highway S. to link up with WSP troopers investigating a traffic collision, SPD reported.
SPD officers were responding to the area due to a domestic disturbance that occurred earlier in Seattle, and the suspect had made her way to Tukwila.
Woman detained after reports of disturbance
While investigating, the suspect was aggressive toward another man involved in the incident. WSP detained the woman with handcuffs to prevent her from assaulting the man.
As the woman was being placed in the back of a police car, she reportedly began to kick and strike two of the WSP troopers.
An SPD sergeant arrived on the scene for administrative purposes, and the woman allegedly spat on the investigating SPD officer.
SPD booked the woman into the King County Jail for three counts of assault.
