Women duo allegedly stealing jewelry, coins from stores throughout western WA

The Lynnwood Police Department (LPD) is warning western Washington stores about two women.

The women are accused of using sleight-of-hand tricks to steal expensive items.
On May 31, the women allegedly walked out with a $9,500 necklace from Zales at the Alderwood Mall. The same day, police said the women shorted an employee out of $400 in cash and stole a dress in Lakewood.
“They’re smooth, fast, and clearly know what they’re doing,” the department wrote in a Facebook post.
Lynnwood police report 2 women allegedly stealing from stores
In Portland, the women allegedly stole a valuable gold coin. The two are reportedly moving from city to city and have not been identified. However, a store caught them on surveillance video.
LPD stated those who work in retail should be wary of the duo. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lynnwood investigators at 425-670-5628.
