Coach John Curley gives an ‘epic halftime speech’

When his 0-7 team made it to halftime with a score of 0-0, John Curley was fired up.

“We were tied when we went into halftime,” said John, “but I didn’t want the kids to rest on their laurels.”

So he gave them what one parent called an “epic halftime speech” that included such great lines as “If I didn’t mention your name it’s because I didn’t have time,” and “Drive a stake in their heart.”
