This election opens door for Kanye West, Richard Sherman in 2020

America was founded on the idea that anyone can run for president. That has changed over the centuries, with the wealthy and most politically connected generally being the only possibility. Now a celebrity president is entirely possible with the way things are going.

However, KIRO Radio’s John Curley said the best part of the current presidential cycle is that Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have lowered not only the moral bar but also the qualifications of people to make a run for the White House.

Seahawks’ Richard Sherman gives his presidential pitch

“Now what happens is you’ll see other people come in because (Trump has) set the standard and it’s so low, you can easily step over that bar,” Curley said.

Check out the photo gallery in this post — it shows some of the more far-fetched people rumored for “consideration” for the presidency. But with how things are, is it possible? Would any of them get your votes for a celebrity president in 2020?
