‘It’s not gonna hurt anybody’: Gee backs the ongoing fight for pro-nudity at Denny Blaine Park

Denny Blaine Park-goers and local residents remain up in arms about nudity at the park, despite recent clothing requirements being imposed last year.
A group representing regulars at the park has asked a judge to allow toplessness at the park, even in areas marked with signs that read, “Clothing required.”
Nearby homeowners have even sought private security guards to enforce the rules, and in certain instances, have called the police.
Gee Scott, co-host of “The Gee and Ursula Show” on KIRO Newsradio, found no issues with allowing patrons to be topless at Denny Blaine Park, and made it crystal clear that the residents surrounding the park knew what they were in for when they chose to hold onto, or buy a home in that area.
“It’s not gonna hurt anybody. And by the way, one of two things happened: either you just bought that house, and you knew what existed right there. Or No. 2, maybe that’s your Great-grandmama house, or your grandmama house,” Gee said. “Guess what, you knew then when you decided not to sell, or you decided to be a part of your trust fund and accept the house. So I’m siding with the folks who want to be topless.”
Denny Blaine Park cracks down on crime, lewd acts with updated clothing requirements
KIO host Ursula Reutin cited that the actual ruling was made to provide safeguards for crime or lewd acts, such as sexual interactions at Denny Blaine, but noted that being topless should be at the bottom of the concerns.
“I’m saying crack down on the illegal behavior, like the lews conduct, like having sex,” Ursula said. “There have been documented cases of things that shouldn’t be happening that were really happening. So crack down on those things, but topless sunbathing, come on.”
“We didn’t see any of that, Ursula,” Gee responded. “What we saw was real smooth. My man came there, sat down. My other man came there, did a quick little trip around, walked to the top, and he followed him. That’s how you do it.”
Gee, Ursula share notable encounter with nudist at Denny Blaine Park
Following the decision to implement an enhanced clothing requirement at Denny Blaine Park, Gee and Ursula went to the park last year, both in bathing suits. The two recalled their time at the park as predominantly tame in terms of crime, though they did gather some key insights from a local nudist.
“You guys remember, Ursula, you straight up had a full-on conversation with this guy who had his Johnson out. Buddy’s Johnson was out,” Gee said.
“And then Angela came and joined me, and I know I could see you and Chef are in the back. They’re just like, ‘What in the heck?’ Nicest conversation, though,” Ursula responded.
