‘Roll my eyes’: Gee’s not a fan of Jimothy landing his own Lego figure

Aug 11, 2026, 2:45 PM

Jimothy, Seattle’s famous raccoon, has been immortalized in Lego form, and KIRO host Gee Scott is over it.

“I’m tired of talking about Jimothy,” Gee said on “The Gee and Ursula Show” on KIRO Newsradio. “Respectfully.”

Legoland unveiled a miniature Lego version of the Ballard raccoon in its display, where Master Model Builder Alison Brennan crafted the figure using 130 Lego bricks in roughly three hours. The brick-built Jimothy was placed in Miniland’s wilderness area after making stops at miniature Bay Area landmarks, including the Golden Gate Bridge.

KOMO News posted a picture of the LEGO.

KIRO host Ursula Reutin called the Lego milestone a sign that Jimothy’s fame has gone global.

“Do you know that my son’s girlfriend from Canada, from Montreal, is visiting, and she even knows about Jimothy,” Ursula said. “He’s a worldwide sensation. Jimothy, with his rare spinal condition that has made him so ugly that he’s cute, has become a celebrity. He’s got the Mariners tributes. He’s got the merchandise. He’s got fan art, and now he has a Lego.”

Gee is done talking about Jimothy

Gee did not share Ursula’s same enthusiasm for the Jimothy craze.

“When you hear of Jimothy, are you getting a warm and fuzzy feeling, or are you just like rolling your eyes?” Ursula asked.

“I roll my eyes,” Gee said.

Jimothy, the raccoon spotted in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood believed to have a rare spinal condition, became an internet sensation after videos of his round shape spread across social media. His popularity has since inspired murals, merchandise, and fan art.
