A mass shooting broke out at a house party in Pierce County over the weekend. Six people were shot, including a 15-year-old and a 19-year-old, who both died. The four others are in serious condition but expected to survive.

According to KING 5, the mother of the 17-year-old girl who hosted the party was home at the time of the deadly shooting. “Gee and Ursula” on KIRO Newsradio wonder if the mom holds any responsibility for what happened at her home.

“We don’t have enough details, but I believe that if something happens within your property and you have given the okay to have that event… don’t be surprised if you are liable in some way, whether it’s criminal or civil,” Ursula Reutin explained.

Gee Scott said he needs more details before he can pass judgment on the mother, but warned that “you better be careful what you allow to happen in your home, because you could be held liable.”

Listen to Gee and Ursula on “The Gee and Ursula Show” weekday mornings from 9 am to 12 pm on KIRO Newsradio.
