Celebrations got so crazy in the KIRO/ESPN booth at Monday night’s Seahawks game against the Green Bay Packers that 710 ESPN host Brock Huard left without his wedding ring.
Huard told Seattle’s Morning News he thinks the ring went missing amid the craziness after refs on the field called a touchdown in the last minute of the game.
“I lost my wedding ring in the suite last night. I had Luke Burbank on my shoulders jumping up and down like a mad man,” says Brock. “I think it was [lost] in the mayhem of picking up Luke.”
Luke confirms to SMN that things indeed got a little crazy.
“Brock and I did what could only be described as the most ridiculous looking man-hug-dance for about three minutes,” says Burbank. “The guy makes the now infamous call of touchdown and just bedlam ensued.”
Burbank says the celebration got so out of control he observed witnesses moving away from the scene.
“My girlfriend was there, and Brock’s wife was there, and the women just slowly backed away from this tangle of humanity that was all of the dudes just freaking out.”
Brock reported with a hoarse voice on Seattle’s Morning News that his wife thankfully was there with him for the entire evening so she’s not giving him too hard a time about it.
