Reports are saying a big part of the Olympics opening ceremonies in London will feature a battle between a fleet of flying Mary Poppins and Lord Voldemort from the Harry Potter series.

While this idea already sounds like a can’t miss, “How could you not watch Voldemort vs. Mary Poppins?” says Dave, Luke has an idea that could really set it off.

“How hilarious would it be if Voldemort wins?” says Luke, imagining the strong reaction it would draw from the crowd, “just like crying children in the Olympic stadium.”

“That would be awesome.”

While he admits the move would likely be massively unpopular, he says there’s no denying “it would definitely go down as the most surprising Olympics opening ceremony of all time.”

Luke, Dave and Producer Andrew just hope the whole Mary Poppins vs. Voldemort scenario is not a false rumor.

“I wonder if it was a misdirection,” says Luke.

“Do you think Danny Boyle put out misinformation?” asked Dave.

Producer Andrew says he would respect the fact that Boyle would go to such lengths to protect the real show material.

“There’s so many reasons to tune in tonight to the opening ceremony, not the least of which is seeing if we got taken,” says Luke.
