If Kristen Stewart

A week after Kristen
Stewart acknowledged cheating on her boyfriend of three
years, Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, with her “Snow
White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders, new reports
suggest
the infidelity only involved kissing. Luke
Burbank of the Ross
and Burbank Show
says he thinks, at least for dudes,
cheating
becomes much more forgivable if the offenders don’t have
sex.

“If I found out that my girlfriend or my wife was making
out with another dude, I would be devastated, but I would
be more likely to be able to get past that than if I found
out that they had actual sex.”

After a conversation with the Seattle’s Morning News team
regarding Stewart’s potentially less-severe cheating
offense, Luke says he sensed that Kim Shepard, the only
female working the morning shift on Monday, felt
regardless of how far things went physically, kissing or
sex, it was just as serious a betrayal.

“Do you think that when women hear about Kristen Stewart
kissing this guy, they think ‘total betrayal,’ and when
guys hear it, they think, ‘not great, but I could get past
that better than finding out [they slept together]?'”
Burbank asked on Monday’s show.

Luke pulled in News Anchor Ursula Reutin for another
female perspective, to see if he could find a trend.

Reutin says she’d find it hard to forgive Stewart,
regardless of specifics in how far it went physically.
She sees cheating as more of a trust issue and says in the
case of Pattinson and Stewart, likely, “The trust has been
broken.”

Luke suggests, after a very small poll, that women seem
more concerned with the emotional betrayal.

“I think most women, if they found out that their man made
a horrible indiscretion and physically cheated, but there
was no emotional component, they would be more able to, at
some point someday, become more OK with that in their
mind,” says Burbank.

Guys, on the other hand, he says, are more concerned with
how far things went physically. “Did you do it?”

“If the answer is ‘no we never even touched, it was just
emotional,’ most guys would be way less concerned,” says
Burbank.

Even if reports are true that Stewart’s betrayal was only
a kiss, Pattinson apparently isn’t as forgiving. Moving
trucks were seen outside
the home the couple shares in Los Angeles.
