A grocery-anchored shopping center in Bellevue has changed ownership in a deal valued at about $61.4 million, according to published reports and King County property records.
Evergreen Village was acquired by an affiliate of Maryland-based First Washington Realty. The neighborhood retail center spans about 108,000 square feet and includes Safeway, a gas station, and additional retail space.
Published reports indicate that the buyer is GRI Evergreen LLC of Bethesda, Maryland, and that the transaction was recorded by King County on July 8.
Industry reports state that the acquisition aligns with ongoing investor interest in grocery-anchored shopping centers, which have remained attractive due to their stable tenant mix and consistent customer traffic.
