Just recently, award winning singer/songwriter/ multi-instrumentalist Daniela Nardi and her new project Espresso Manifesto released its brand new recording Espresso Manifesto – the Songs of Paolo Conte. This intrepid project has Nardi taking her signature style and interpreting the songs of legendary Italian singer/songwriter Paolo Conte, whose work has never been recorded by any other female artist.

Now, Daniela Nardi has decided to take this project to another level and will be releasing a remix album for the song ‘Via Con Me’ consisting of 3 tracks – a Club mix, Vocal Remix and an Instrumental Remix. This EP is hot.

Nardi says of her choice in working with Italian DJ-Composer Gerardo Frisina, “I really love the Italian lounge scene and have been a fan of Gerardo’s work for some time. I thought it would be really cool if I could introduce a new generation to the works of Paolo Conte. By adding the treatment that we did to the tracks, it helps bring a freshness, new life and if anything further show how timeless Conte’s tracks are when you can make a remix out of it and it sounds like a contemporary track.”

Espresso ManifestoMacchiato67 – Via Con Me Remix EP is due this February 14, 2013.

For feminists, the deaths of Parton and Steinem days apart deliver a double dose of grief
