Luxury shoppers of the Pacific Northwest now have a new, boutique stop for their next shopping trip. The first stand-alone Rolex store in all of Washington is now open in Bellevue’s The Shops at The Bravern, the Puget Sound Business Journal reported.
The Swiss luxury watchmaker opened the 4,700-square-foot building in October, just before the holiday shopping season kicks off.
Rolex and Bucherer expansion
The first Washington location signals the company’s latest retail expansion. Rolex acquired Bucherer, the world’s largest retailer, in 2023, which added more than 100 stores to Rolex’s portfolio. Since then, new Rolex stores in London, Miami, New York, and now Bellevue have opened, according to the Puget Sound Business Journal.
Bucherer is a Swiss watch and jewelry retailer founded in Lucerne in 1888, according to the Downtown Bellevue Network. Previously, Rolex only sold watches in Washington through authorized dealers. For decades, one of those partnerships has been with Ben Bridge Jeweler.
The shopping experience
The Shops at The Bravern is known as the largest one-stop shop for luxury brands and fine dining in the Pacific Northwest. Rolex is now the newest retailer, alongside Prada, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Moncler, Omega, and Gucci.
The retail space opened in 2009 and spans 305,000 square feet. Two office towers sit above the shopping complex and were previously home to Microsoft until last year. In July, Seattle-based developer Schnitzer acquired the two towers, the Puget Sound Business Journal reported.
For interested shoppers, the new Rolex store is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Sundays, it’s open from noon to 6 p.m.
