Noise for the Needy: June 20th -23rd

Noise for the Needy is happening this weekend with a slew of really great local bands in tow whose only goal is to perform their hearts out for you. Establishments all around Ballard (The Sunset, Tractor Tavern, Conor Byrne and Hattie’s Hat) will be participating in this worthy cause that you should check out if you like music, booze and giving to charity.

NFTN is a Seattle-based nonprofit organization that raises money for charitable causes through the production of live music shows. To date, NFTN has raised over $150,000 for Seattle charities.

Performing at this year’s event will be Said The Whale, Battleme, River Giant, Smokey Brights, Polyrhythmics, “The Rolling Stones”, The Maldives, The Blakes, Sassparilla, Ole Tinder, Julia Massey and The Five Finger Discount, The Great UM, The Jesus Rehab, Kris Orlowski, Hot Bodies In Motion, Cody Beebe and The Crooks, Tango Alpha Tango, Goodbye Heart and many more!

Here’s a short list of who you should see this weekend:

Goodbye Heart play the Conor Byrne Thursday, June 20th, along with Lures, Santee and Manplus.

Battleme, River Giant, Smokey Brights and The Brambles play The Sunset on Friday, June 21st.

“The Rolling Stones”, The Maldives, The Blakes, Sassparilla, The Chasers and Ole Tinder are playing Hattie’s Hat parking lot on Saturday, June 22nd.

Also, on Saturday, you should definitely go check out Julia Massey and The Five Finger Discount, The Great UM, The Jesus Rehab and Tangerine when they play Conor Byrne later that night around 9p.
