Street Fair: Kent Cornucopia Days – Friday to Sunday, July 14-16. The festival features a 5K fun run and walk, activities for kids, music and more. The 5K run will be on Saturday and registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The event will be held downtown Kent, WA. Follow this link for details.

County Fun: King County Fair – Thursday to Sunday, July 13-16. This annual event boasts good food, music, rides, and other attractions. You can enjoy the sounds of Jessica Lynne and others on the main music stage. Plus there will be barbecue, turkey legs, and even a traditional scone. Community Celebration: Capital Lakefair – Thursday to Sunday, July 13-16. Enjoy food, a car show to band battles at this event. There will also be games and rides. Many of the events will be held at Heritage Park, but some at other locations – all in Olympia, WA. Follow this link for details.

Seafair Summer: Seafair Seattle Pow-Wow – Friday to Sunday, July 14-16. The United Indians of All Tribes Foundation would like you to come out to the Daybreak Star Cultural Center at Discovery Park to see traditional singing and dance contest, Native American arts and crafts and enjoy authentic food booths. 5011 Bernie Whitebear Way, Seattle. Westside Fun: West Seattle Summer Fest – Friday to Saturday, July 14-16. For family fun, this event includes live music, a kids play area, shopping and other activities. Seattle Opera’s Open House: Summer Fest – Saturday, July 15, Noon to 3 p.m. From live performances to interactive children activities, have fun at McCaw Hall. Seafair Summer: Lucerne Seafair Milk Carton Derby – Saturday, July 15, 8a-4p. This fun event showcases the talents of those who put together watercrafts made out of milk cartons and other materials. Enjoy youth races, team challenges on the water and even a parade of boats. Also at the event will be interactive exhibit booths and food.
