A baggage handler trapped in a plane’s cargo hold wasn’t able to provide much information before his cellphone’s reception cut out.

The recently released 911 recording of an employee of Menzies Aviation trapped the in the cargo hold of Alaska Airlines flight 448 taking off from Sea-Tac on Monday details the first moments when the man realized he was trapped.

“I’m caught in this plane, and I’ve called my job, but I’m in this plane,” the handler tells the 911 dispatcher.

“I’m inside the plane, I feel like it’s moving in the air,” he said. “Flight 448, can you please tell somebody to stop it.”

The dispatcher then asked the man if he is at the airport, but the man’s cell phone began to break up at that point.

“I’m not in the airport…I feel like it has moved because…” the man said.

The call only records snippets of words from that point on, which sound like the man is yelling.

Once the call dropped, the dispatcher called the cell phone company to obtain the caller’s name and other information, which she in turn related to authorities at the airport.
