Washington 911 lines back in service after brief statewide outage

After numerous cities and counties across Washington reported an outage to their 911 phone line systems Thursday, service has now been restored statewide.
Our state E-911 office has reported that all 911 services statewide are back online and fully functional. The cause remains under investigation.

The outage was “widespread” across several cities and counties, lasting anywhere between 15 to 20 minutes. Service was gradually restored, before the Washington Emergency Management Department reported that all 911 lines were back online and fully functional.
There’s currently no word on the cause behind the outage.
