Calling the weather this weekend tropical may be a bit of a stretch, but it’s sure going to be nice if current forecasts are correct.
By Friday, the rain will mostly dissipate and we will see temperatures in the upper 60s.
On Saturday, it’s possible we will see temps in the low-to-mid 70s, according to the National Weather Service.
Come Sunday, Mother’s Day, the Puget Sound region could experience temps from the low 70s to the lower-to-mid 80s, according to the Weather Service.
KIRO 7 Meteorologist Nick Allard is calling for a high of 81 degrees on Mother’s Day. He says it’s dependent on offshore wind. If that picks up in intensity a bit more than expected, we could see highs closer to the record of 84 degrees. However, he’s not convinced that will happen.
But at the end of the day, will it really make a difference if the high is in the lower-80s compared to the mid-80s?
