Bothell police are asking for information on a suspect in an Amber Alert car theft that took place early Tuesday morning.

Initially, an Amber Alert was issued for three-year-old Faith Collins. The alert was cancelled hours later after she was found by Bothell police.

Faith was initially in her mother’s car as it was being stolen outside her apartment in Bothell at 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Her mother had reportedly gone inside her apartment with her older child while Faith was still on the car, before hearing “a screeching sound from tires” as the vehicle was stolen with the younger child still inside.

Police found Faith just after 6:30 a.m., but are still searching for the suspect who stole the vehicle. In doorbell camera footage, the suspect can be seen wearing a beanie with a blue jacket, grey pants, and black tennis shoes.

Anyone who sees the suspect or knows their location is being urged to call 911. Non-emergency information can be directed to Bothell Police at (425) 486-1254.
