According to WFTV, a Southwest Boeing 737 MAX 8 plane made an emergency landing shortly after takeoff at Orlando International Airport Tuesday afternoon. The plane was in the process of being relocated to California.

Southwest confirmed in a statement to KIRO Radio that the plane landed due to an engine issue unrelated to the two most recent 737 MAX crashes.

The plane was empty — save for its two pilots — and was originally en route to Victorville, California before an emergency landing sent it back to ground in Orlando.

The 737 MAX 8 will be moved to an Orlando maintenance facility for review.

The 737 MAX has been grounded while the FAA investigates two deadly crashes involving the planes. Southwest started moving all 34 of their MAX planes to a facility in southern California for storage, to make space at other airports where they’d been parked.

This is a developing story. Check back soon for updates.
