A second Chili’s has officially opened in Washington, this time within Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).

The chain restaurant opened as part of SEA’s new Concource C expansion, timed to coincide with an estimated 750,000 fans visiting Seattle to take part in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Spokane was the only other Chili’s location in the state.

Airport officials told FOX 13 that there has been strong interest in Chili’s returning after all its locations in the state closed.

“Chili’s has become a real popular item that we’re kind of surprised about because, apparently, we’re the only one that would be on the west side of the state,” Perry Cooper, spokesperson for SEA, stated.

SEA’s Concourse C to nearly triple in size with a $399 million expansion

SEA wrapped up its roughly $399 million expansion project on Concourse C Thursday morning just in time for an influx of travelers.

Concourse C nearly tripled in size, expanding the previously existing 81,000-square-foot building into a 226,530-square-foot facility, including a “wish list of amenities.”

Airport officials have noted that the expansion will address a strong need for additional passenger space in one of the airport’s highest-traffic areas.

Concourse C features a wide range of dining options, including local favorites and national chains such as Chili’s, Great State Burger, and Buffalo Wild Wings, among others.

Other features will include art installations throughout the concourse, like multiple video walls, an art wall, and a “Lookout at C sculpture.”
