Five hundred new American citizens were sworn in Tuesday at Seattle Center.

The naturalization ceremony was held in the morning at the Fisher Pavilion, where people from nearly 70 countries took the Naturalization Oath of Allegiance.

To become a U.S. citizen, people must meet eligibility requirements and go through the naturalization process. One of the requirements is taking the Naturalization Test, which includes 100 civics questions.

Here are three examples of what’s on the test:

– When was the Declaration of Independence adopted?

– What is one responsibility that is only for U.S. citizens?

– Why does the flag have 50 stars?

The full list can be found here.

How many can you answer (without looking at the answers)?
