The Snoqualmie Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce (SnoValley Chamber) is asking for donations after four Snoqualmie businesses were completely destroyed in a fire on Sunday.

According to the SnoValley Chamber, all four were beloved women-owned businesses. The businesses: Chickadee Bakeshop, Snoqualmie Ice Cream, Snoqualmie Pie Co. and Little Wishes Photogrhapy lost everything.

Jeff Platt with GoFundMe said that at least two of the businesses were the sole source of income for the owners.

Those who want to donate to the four businesses can do so here.

The SnoValley Chamber said the donations will help the business owners cover relocating, equipment replacement, inventory restocking and other essential needs.

“As a community, we are coming together to support these resilient business owners during this challenging time. We have set up this GoFundMe to provide emergency assistance for these four entrepreneurs as they work to rebuild their livelihood,” wrote the SnoValley Chamber in the GoFundMe.

Jaime Phon-Daniel has set up a separate GoFundMe for people to help cover equipment replacement and relocation for Little Wishes Photography. The photography studio takes pictures for maternity, newborns and families. Those who want to help can do so here.

Original coverage

Eastside Fire and Rescue crews were able to put out a fire that completely engulfed a Snoqualmie business.

The flames took over a business in the 8100 block of Railroad Avenue Southeast.

Eastside Fire posted that the building caught fire at 5:24 a.m. Sunday.

At 5:47 a.m., crews reported the fire fully immersed the building. Railroad Avenue was closed for a couple of hours while crews worked to contain the fire from outside.

At 6:39 a.m., crews extinguished most of the fire but were still working.

“This is absolutely a tragic loss for the community but I’m so glad it was just the building,” commented one person, under Eastside Fire’s post on X, with the username MrSnoqualmie at 8:41 a.m. Sunday.

Eastside Fire reported no one was hurt. Although, the King County Sheriff’s Office Fire Investigation Unit is looking into what happened.
