On August 28, the Tukwila Police Department night shift patrol sergeant attempted to perform a traffic stop for a DUI investigation at the 13900 block of Tukwila International Blvd.

Officers say the driver instead fled in their vehicle, subsequently sideswiped a car, and then crashed his vehicle in the front yard of a residence ending up at the 3100 block South of 144th South.

The suspect immediately took off on foot. Officers established a perimeter in the area, and a K9 from a neighboring agency responded to assist officers with tracking the suspect.

The suspect was located in the backyard of a residence on Military Rd South, where he was taken into custody.

He was found with a firearm at the time of his arrest.

The suspect was booked into King County Jail on charges of eluding, unlawful possession of a firearm, DUI, and hit & run.

An alert from the Blaine Police Department: officers need your help to find Christopher Powell.

There is probable cause to arrest him for second-degree burglary, first-degree malicious mischief, second-degree vehicle prowl, second-degree criminal trespass, and third-degree theft.

Police say Powell is known to frequent the Cost Cutter area and Blaine Food Bank if you see Powell call 911 right away.

15-year-old boy shot, killed in Oak Harbor

Yesterday, Oak Harbor Police Officers responded to a report of an erratically driven vehicle around 1:07 p.m. It was followed by a call that the vehicle appeared to be involved in a collision.

Officers and medics responded and found a 15-year-old boy in the vehicle who had been shot. The driver told officers he was trying to get the victim to the hospital.

He was rushed to Whidbey General Hospital by medical personnel but did not survive.

Oak Harbor Police Officers and Detectives are investigating the circumstances of the shooting. Anyone with information should call the Oak Harbor Police Department.

Drug bust in shoreline leads to seizure of 45,000 fentanyl pills

On August 24, 2022, Shoreline Special Events Teams and Criminal Investigations Department Detectives executed search warrants in South Everett, with the assistance of shoreline K9 officers.

This was a part of an ongoing investigation into a drug distribution chain that happened over the course of several months, starting in the City of Shoreline.

The narcotics distributed from this location went from the City of Everett to the City of Shoreline and surrounding areas.

With the search warrant officers seized 4 cars, 109,000 cash, 1,085 grams of cocaine, 390 grams of heroin, three pounds of methamphetamine, and 45,000 fentanyl pills.

One person was arrested and booked into King County Jails for felony charges during the bust.

Seattle Police search for armed bank robber 

On Aug. 8 at about noon, Seattle Police Officers were dispatched to a report of a bank robbery in the 9700 block of Holman Rd NW.

Officers say a suspect entered the bank and displayed a note stating he had a gun and demanded cash.

The suspect took the cash and then left in a white Mazda SUV. An extensive area check was conducted, but officers could not locate the suspect.
