Dead body discovered in Puyallup River by group of fishermen

A group of fishermen contacted police after they found a dead body moving down the Puyallup River, the Puyallup Police Department confirmed.
Detectives with the Puyallup Police Department are currently investigating the discovery after the Central Pierce Fire and Rescue personnel pulled the body from the water. The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office took custody of the body in an effort to learn more about how he died.
