Even the robbers are going after doughnuts in Seattle. Police were called to a Krispy Kreme on Aurora Sunday night after a man threatened employees and took off with a maple bar.
A patron told officers the man implied he had a gun and told them “this is a robbery.”
The suspect told the cashier he was robbing the store in the 12500 block of Aurora Ave North and reached for his waistband. Then he ordered everyone into the back, where the employees hid and called 911.
Officers found the man at a nearby bus stop. He was arrested and booked into King County Jail on investigation of robbery.
Surveillance video confirmed the robber took a single maple bar during the robbery.
