Everett police search for two suspects after young woman shot

Jun 16, 2015, 8:01 AM | Updated: 8:40 am

Everett police don’t have a lot of information to go on, but what is known is that a 22-year-old woman was shot and left on the street early Tuesday morning.

“At about 1 o’clock this morning we received reports that a female had been shot at the intersection of California Street and Cedar Street in Everett, and that two white males were running from the scene,” said Officer Aaron Snell with the Everett Police Department.

A K9 unit was called to search the scene but no suspects were found. No weapons were found at the scene.

“At this point we don’t have a lot to go on,” Snell said early Tuesday morning.

The woman was taken to Providence Medical Center in serious condition.

The major crimes unit is investigating.
