A Federal Way man led police on a high-speed chase through Snohomish County on Sunday, but says he doesn’t remember much about the drive.
Joseph Young says he was having an uneventful drive until he noticed a cop standing in front of his truck holding a gun.
The 50-year-old says he doesn’t remember leading police up I-5 to Arlington and then down Highway 9 or the officers laying down spike strips that blew-out several of his tires.
The Everett Herald reports Young says he was off his medication for bipolar disorder and he had smoke some marijuana before getting in his car.
Young was shot and Tazed by officers as they struggled to arrest him after he reportedly tried to run one of them down.
