Federal Way police search for missing autistic teen

It has been three days since Jennifer Duncan last saw her 16-year-old son, Nathan.
Federal Way detectives are teaming up with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in the search since Nathan has been diagnosed with a mild form of autism.
On Monday, a teacher noticed Nathan had a cell phone that the teacher believed might have been stolen. She notified him that should would have to call his parents, and Nathan was overheard saying he was afraid to go home that night.
Nathan has run away from home several times before, but his mother says he has never been gone overnight.
Nathan has been described as 5-foot, 2 inches tall, 210 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair. He was last ween wearing Levi jeans and white t-shirt.
Cathy Schrock with Federal Way Police says they have no reason to believe Nathan has been harmed. There is a chance he is simply staying at a friend’s house and the parents do not know he is considered a missing person.
