A 42-year-old convicted felon was arrested last week for violating a restraining order after he repeatedly harassed and threatened a Seattle business, and returned once more.

The suspect was allegedly laughing at, flipping off, mocking, threatening, and harassing employees of the business in the 3700 block of S.W. Alaska Street, the Seattle Police Department (SPD) announced.

On Nov. 5, at approximately 9:50 a.m., officers responded to a court order violation where the suspect had been trespassed from multiple businesses in the area.

SPD noted previous incidents where the suspect allegedly dealt narcotics, brandished a firearm, and fought with police officers.

Seattle employee sought restraining order for suspect

Previously, an employee of the travel agency recorded several videos of the suspect’s behavior and obtained an anti-harassment order against the suspect.

The order was granted by a judge and prohibited the suspect from harming, contacting, stalking, or coming within 1,000 feet of the business.

During the SPD investigation, officers witnessed the suspect within approximately 350 feet of the business. The suspect was arrested for violating the court order.

While officers arrested the suspect, they seized methamphetamine and found a $1,500 warrant for property destruction.

Officers booked the suspect into King County Jail.
