Fire damages multi-story home in Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood

A fire broke out within a multi-story home in Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood Monday night, the Seattle Fire Department confirmed.

The fire took less than an hour to extinguish, with the department first receiving a call at 9:20 p.m. Monday, and the flames smothered out just after 10 p.m. The home was located near N. 83rd Street and Greenwood Avenue in Seattle.

While the fire was active, it impacted multiple floors before stretching into the attic and through the roof of the home.

No injuries were reported, and the cause is under investigation.
