The City of Tacoma is hoping a little rain won’t stop
families from celebrating with them Saturday as they open
Pierce County’s first wave pool.

The complex at Kandle Park also features a zero-depth entry
for individuals with disabilities and a “spray ground” for
little kids.

You can get in for free Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until 5:00
p.m. The first 250 guests will also get a coupon for a free
hot dog or drink at the Shark Shack.

In addition to the pools, visitors can enjoy live Caribbean
music.

Saturday’s forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies, a little
rain and highs in the lower 60’s.

the Kandle Parkweb
site.
